I like to create a look that is unique for you, matching eye, skin and hair colors. As a
professional makeup artist I like to use only the highest quality brands
such as MAC. I invite trial opportunities and I am confident that we
can bring out that special look. I suggest you bring to the trial
any images, photographs, color schemes, accessories and of course, I welcome your ideas.
Please allow 1½ - 2 hours for makeup trials and another 1½- 2 hours
for hair trials. Once you are happy with the
trial session, your personal face chart and photographs of any hair
styling are saved to guarantee you a hassle-free event or
wedding day.
I strongly recommend that you start looking for a makeup artist or set an appointment with me, well in advance of your big day if you can this way you have a better chance of finding a good makeup artist before they become booked out. You may need to look for someone that will travel to you on your event or wedding day and perhaps in the convenience of your own home. This may be more time efficient and relaxing for you so as you're not rushing from one place to the next possibly getting held up in traffic and by other clients that also require attention in a salon environment. I want to get to know you as well learn about the colors and the style of your dress, bridesmaids dresses and flowers. This will help me to create a makeup look to go with your personal style and compliment the colors around you on the event or wedding day. I encourage you to bring in and show me pictures from magazines that show the make-up from various looks that appeal to you.
Please let me know if you have any skin problems or allergies etc, or if there are any particular ways you like to wear your make-up. I will make lots of notes about your wishes and probably take some digital photographs of you, which will help me recreate the same look you're happy with created at your trial consultation. This will give you reassurance and peace of mind.
In addition, I can help you start a beauty routine to have your skin in top condition for the big day. I can recommend many products to clean and moisturize your face morning and night to keep your pores clean and give your skin the moisture it needs. I'll explain how to exfoliate once or twice a week to get rid of dead skin otherwise your makeup clings to dead skin showing it up. I also recommend a facial at least every other month, which is a more intense treatment than what you do yourself at home and is also a good chance to relax from the stresses of planning your event or wedding!
